  • When I'm asked what a business is worth - I ask, are we buyers or sellers?
  • I get nervous when someone says - don't worry, it’s a done deal.
  • You can't sell a business to someone who doesn't want to buy it.
  • You can't buy a business from someone who doesn't want to sell it.
  • A deal is only as good as the available alternatives.
  • Every deal that looks too good to be true - usually is.
  • All businesses that fail have one thing in common - they all run out of cash.
